A little about me.
I was born in Oceanside, CA, and have been drawn to creating for as long as I can remember. Making art has always been my way of exploring ideas and understanding the world around me. I began pursuing a career in the arts in 2009 and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2014. Early in my career, I worked in community and educational settings, including the Claraty Arts Project, Montessori elementary schools, and private art institutions, where I developed a deep appreciation for creativity as a form of expression and connection.
For many years, acrylic painting was my primary medium. In 2020, my curiosity led me to digital illustration and graphic design, and I quickly fell in love with the mix of creativity and problem-solving that design offers. I was drawn to the structure, intention, and clarity that thoughtful design can bring to ideas.
What I love most about design is the opportunity to turn concepts into visuals that feel clear, considered, and human. I enjoy collaborating with others, learning new tools and approaches, and creating work that is both expressive and functional. Design allows me to grow continuously while helping others communicate their ideas, and that balance is what keeps me inspired.
When I’m not making art, you can find me…
Laughing, dancing, hiking, swimming, and seeking joy. My second love next to art has always been movement. In recent years I have developed an interest in Crossfit and weightlifting. I love the team aspect present in group training and have made some incredible friendships through exercise.
